High frequency transformer is a power transformer whose working frequency exceeds medium frequency (10kHz). They are simple in principle but require different winding techniques for different applications. How to deal with the short circuit of transformer skeleton? What should be considered first when facing problems?
First, transformer parts short-circuit incident after the test, experiment. When the transformer skeleton suffers from sudden short circuit, the low-voltage winding and balance winding are the most prone to deformation, followed by high-voltage winding, iron core and clamps. Therefore, the transformer skeleton after the short-circuit end of the inspection is mainly to look at the windings, iron cores, clamps and other parts.
First, winding inspection and experiment.
Because the transformer skeleton short-circuit, in the power effect, the winding suffered pressure, tension, bending and other forces together, the formation of the fault concealment is strong, is not easy to see and correct, so the short-circuit fault should be checked after the main points of the winding.

The core of transformer skeleton should have mechanical strength. The mechanical strength of the iron core is ensured by the strength of all the clamping parts on the core and its connecting parts. When the electric force occurs in the winding, the axial force of the winding will be counteracted by the counterforce of the clamp. If the strength of the clamp and the tension plate is less than the axial force, the clamp, the tension plate and the winding will be damaged.
Therefore, we should carefully inspect the core, clip, drawing plate and its connections. Transformer skeleton is to change the communication voltage, current and impedance of the equipment, when the primary coil with the communication current, the iron core (or magnetic core) will occur in the communication flux, so that the secondary coil induced voltage (or current).
